1. What this app does

Creator Video Publisher is a publishing tool for creators. It lets a creator connect their own TikTok account, prepare short videos, review and approve each post, and publish approved posts to their own TikTok account — either immediately upon approval, or automatically at a scheduled time. Every published video is one the creator has reviewed and approved; the App never publishes anything the creator hasn’t approved. A scheduled post can be removed from the schedule at any time before it publishes.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to publish content you approve to your own TikTok account:

TikTok account information obtained through TikTok Login Kit: your TikTok open_id, display name (nickname), and profile avatar. This comes from the user.info.basic scope.
OAuth credentials: the access token and refresh token TikTok issues when you connect your account. These are stored in encrypted form and used only to act on your behalf when you ask us to publish.
Video files you choose to publish: the video file you select in the App for a specific post, held only while the upload is in progress.
Post records: basic status information about your posts (e.g., whether an upload succeeded), so the App can show you what happened.

We do not collect your TikTok password, your contacts, your messages, or any data beyond what is listed above.

3. How we use your data

To publish videos you have reviewed and approved to your own TikTok account, using the video.publish scope — either right away when you approve them, or automatically at the time you scheduled. Approving a video for the publishing schedule is your consent for that specific post to be published.
To identify which connected account a post belongs to (using your open_id and nickname).
To keep your connection working (refreshing your access token when needed, only while your account stays connected).

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than publishing the content you approve. Nothing is posted that you haven’t reviewed and approved, and you can remove a scheduled post any time before its scheduled time.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties, except:

TikTok, to the extent necessary to publish the content you approve (the video file, title, and posting options you chose are sent to TikTok’s Content Posting API).
If required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

OAuth tokens are kept only while your TikTok account is connected to the App.
Video files are kept only during the upload process and are deleted once the upload completes or fails.
Post records are kept for 90 days to let you review posting history, then deleted.

6. Disconnecting and your rights

You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time:

In the App, via the disconnect option; or
In the TikTok app, under Settings → Manage app permissions, by removing the App’s access.

When you disconnect, we delete your stored OAuth tokens. To request deletion of any remaining data (such as post records) or to ask what data we hold about you, email prater352@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. TikTok accounts are subject to TikTok’s own age requirements, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at the same URL before the changes take effect.

October 8, 2026: clarified that videos you review and approve may be published automatically at their scheduled time (in addition to immediate publishing upon approval), and that approving a video for the publishing schedule constitutes your consent for that specific post.
